From the Port list, select the serial port used to connect to the GSM modem.

If hardware control of the serial port data protocol is enabled (see step 5.8) and you

need to use an RTS signal, select Yes from the RTS signal list.

Select the speed for data transmission via the GSM modem from the Baud rate list.

If you need to control the serial port data protocol, select the desired method of

control from the Handshaking list: hardware (RTS/STS), software (XOn/XOff), or

alternating.

Click the Apply button.



Configuration of the SMS object is now complete.

Checking SMS notifications



To check SMS notifications from an SMS message object, send a test message by clicking the Tes

t message button.



When you do this, the following message is sent to the mobile number indicated in the To field:

"This is a test message to check EyStream SMS notification."



Note



If the recipient does not receive the message, make sure that the settings of the

SMS object have been properly configured



Configuring the web server

To configure the web server in the EyStream software package:



Select a Server object.
